The 2012 Altitude Comedy Festival in Mayrhofen, Austria

Altitude comedy festival 2012The Altitude Comedy Festival is one of a kind. Set in the picture-perfect ski resort of Mayrhofen in Austria, it brings some of the world’s biggest comedians to one of the world’s top ski resorts.

You can hit the slopes by day and laugh all night – with an amazing line-up of comics performing throughout the week including Jimmy Carr, Frankie Boyle, and Al Murray.

Snowbombing in Mayrhofen; the party never stops

Snowbombing has been a staple feature of the Mayrhofen winter diary since 2000. Every year they make it bigger and better with more party goers and bigger DJs.

Each year Mayrhofen is overtaken by Snowbombing which attracted 6000 people last year and won ‘best overseas festival 2010’. Headline acts in the past have included Fat boy slim, 2 many DJS, Dizzee Rascal and Prodigy. This year the headline act is Snoop Dogg who will be joined by a total of 90 acts throughout the week including: Example, Groove Armada, Fat Boy Slim, The Vaccines and a whole lot more.
