Ski-buzz relaunches for 2012-13

We’re delighted to unveil a new design and brand new features.

The Ski-buzz homepage

To celebrate the relaunch we’ll be giving away a free copy of Where to Ski and Snowboard 2013 (which is out next month) each day next week.

Details of how to enter our Where to Ski and Snowboard competition are at the bottom of this post.

How have we made Ski-buzz better?

The overhaul has focused on making the blog as easy to use as possible with more content, a fresher design and a dedicated mobile version, providing  UK skiers and snowboarders the best articles and blog content ahead and during the ski season.

We also want you, our readers, to get involved so we’ve also made it quick and easy to comment on posts (you can log in using Facebook or Twitter) as well as introducing a Guest blogger section, rewarding those of you who send us your own skiing stories. You can also find out about the team behind Ski-buzz.

It’s only 44 days until some of the early glaciers open in Austria and little more than 3 months before many of us will be hitting European slopes in December.

We can’t wait.

Thursday 6th

Thursday’s copy can be won by leaving a comment on this blog post. All you need to do is tell us which piece of gear you either want the most for 2012/13 or the item you couldn’t be without that you already have.

Wednesday 5th

Tell us what makes a good ski instructor here and you’ll be in the hat for Wednesday’s copy of Where to Ski and Snowboard.

Tuesday 4th September

Today we want to know about the best ski area that you’ve skied / snowboarded and why. Simply follow this link and leave a comment.

Is it one of those already listed? Or is somewhere completely different? The best answer will win today’s copy of WTSS 13. Entries close and winner announced tomorrow at 11am.

We’ll be using the best answers in a post on Ski-buzz next week.

Monday 3rd September

First run with my new helmet through some trees and got knocked over by branch leaving hole in said helmet – now won’t leave home without it!
